MEET JAYE

At the young age of seven, Jaye came to know Christ personally. It was through this relationship that she began to understand God’s plan and later began vocational ministry at the age of 28. She has earned two Master’s degrees, a MA(RE) from Southwestern Seminary and a ThM from Southern Seminary. Jaye has served as Minister of Evangelism, Women & Prayer at Houston’s First Baptist Church, Women’s Evangelism Strategist at North American Mission Board, and Director of Women’s Leadership at Southern Seminary. Jaye writes and equips leaders at numerous seminaries, conventions and churches and is a trustee of the International Mission Board.

As an author, speaker, trainer and consultant, Jaye now serves as president of Jaye Martin Ministries whose mission is equipping leaders to share Christ and mobilize believers through resources, training and partnerships. JMM has relaunched the HeartCall series Jaye wrote, and is also releasing Gifted2Go, a new series on mobilizing people through their spiritual gifts. Jaye is married to Dana, a deacon and Bible study teacher and makes her home in Houston, Texas. Her daughter, Kelli, a recent graduate of Southern Seminary, serves with her at JMM as the chief creative officer. On Sunday mornings, you can find Jaye at the preschool check-in desk at Houston’s FBC.
